HOME TIME POLICY

Home Time Policy

A schedule built around your life — not around our load board.

THE POLICY

Simple. Honest. Consistent.

3
Weeks OTR
3
Days Home

Minimum OTR cycle: approximately 21 days
Home time: 3 days at your home domicile — not a truck stop

At BELTRANS MVP, home time means you're actually home. Not sitting at a terminal two states away waiting for a load. Not parked at a receiver while we "work on getting you back." You run your OTR cycle, you come home, you get your time, and you go back out on your terms.

YOUR TYPICAL CYCLE

Week 1
OTR

Freight running, consistent miles

Week 2
OTR

Continued OTR operations

Week 3
OTR

Final week of current cycle

Days 1–3
HOME

Home time — you're off. No dispatching.

Next cycle begins on your schedule

WHY THIS MATTERS TO US

This Isn't Policy for Policy's Sake.

The trucking industry has watched driver turnover rates exceed 90% annually at large carriers for decades. The single most cited reason drivers leave a company — aside from pay — is broken home time promises.

BELTRANS MVP was built by people who understand that a driver who trusts their company to get them home is a driver who stays. We'd rather build long-term relationships with drivers who trust us than constantly recruit replacements for drivers who left because we didn't keep our word.

This is a company making a real commitment. When we say three days home, we mean three days home.

HOME TIME FAQ

Common Home Time Questions

Q: What qualifies as "home time"?

Home time means you are at your home domicile — not at a truck stop, not at a terminal, not in a hotel. You're home.

Q: What if my home time gets delayed due to freight?

We work proactively to prevent this. In the rare cases where dispatch requires a short adjustment, we communicate early and work with you to make it right. We don't leave drivers waiting without a clear answer.

Q: Can I take more than 3 days if I want?

[PLACEHOLDER — confirm extended home time policy with operations].

Q: Does home time affect my CPM or weekly earnings?

Home time days are off-duty. Your CPM applies to miles driven. We set home time cycles to maximize your earning window while respecting your personal time.

Q: I'm a team driver — does the same policy apply?

Yes. Team drivers follow the same home time cycle. We coordinate team scheduling to ensure both drivers get home on a mutually agreed schedule. [PLACEHOLDER — confirm team home time logistics].
